- Workamba Trade & Apartment S.C has invited sealed bids comprising of technical & Financial Proposal from eligible Bidders for providing all the necessary labor, material & equipment for the construction of B+G+14+T apartment (Only excavation work) listed above.
- Both the pre-qualification (Technical) and Non priced (Financial) bid documents may be obtained by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to: Workamba Trade & Apartment S.C, Tele:0911812740 Bahir Dar, upon payment of non-refundable birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr).
- Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond in CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee of 2% of the total bid amount in separate envelopes; and must clearly state the name of the project for which the bidder is bidding and the employer. The bid bond shall remain in forces for 90 calendar days from the bid opening date and valid for extra 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The bid bond shall be presented in separate envelope. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the sum of 10% of the gross bid sum within 10 days from date of issuance of letter of acceptance.
- Bidders are strictly advised that they must read and comply in full with the “INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS”.
- The construction of works shall be completed within a maximum of 30 Calendar
- Both the pre-qualification and priced bid documents shall be in separate envelopes & properly sealed (one ORIGINAL& one COPY); otherwise the client will reject the bid. Expressions of interest will be evaluated in accordance with the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (PPA 2011);
- Sealed bid documents shall be submitted to Workamba Trade & Apartment S.C on or before 15st calendar days from the first advertisement at 2:00 PM and shall be publicly opened at 15st calendar day starting from first advertisement date at 3:00 PM. If the opening date lies on a non-working day, it will be shifted to the next working day in employer when the name of bidders and the amount of their bids will be declared. Bidders are advised to attend the opening of bids;

- All bidders have to conduct site visit before submitting a bid. The client will not accept any claim in relation to the site and related issues;
The successful bidder will be required to furnish unconditional bank guarantee equivalent with the amount of the advance payment. The client will not accept claims in relation to late advance payment and amount of advance payment;
- Bidders will not be allowed to participate in Joint venture in this bid;
- Workamba Trade & Apartment S.C reserves the right to reject any or all bids without giving reasons therefore and to waive informalities and irregularities, which do not constitute a material modification in the bids received.
