American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (AJJDC) is an international NGO registered with CSO engaged in development activities in education, health and water development sectors. AJJDC is pleased to invite qualified & registered construction companies to submit technical and financial proposals for construction work of Emergency Room, Laboratory Room and Waiting Area Block at Maraki Health Center, Gondar. Mandatory Requirements & deliverables

1. Certificate of Registration: Bidders must submit a valid commercial registration certificate with relevant authorities.
2. Tax Compliance: Bidders must submit a valid tax clearance certificate and other tax certificate (TIN, VAT Registration Certificate etc.,)
3. Business License: Bidders must submit a valid business license.
4. Bid Bond: 2% of the total amount offered for the work must be submitted in CPO.
5. Company profile: Bidders must provide a company profile that briefly describes the company and relevant work, qualifications and reference before previous work.
6. Advance Payment Guarantee: The winning bidder must provide an advance payment bank guarantee.
7. Performance Guarantee: The winning bidder must provide a performance guarantee from a recognized bank.
8. Documentation: The bidder must provide one original technical & financial proposal and one copy of the technical & financial documents.

Technical Evaluation (70%)

1. Experience: Proven track record in similar projects.
2. Staff Qualifications: Qualifications and experience of key personnel.
3. Equipment: Availability and condition of necessary equipment on site.
4. Project Plan: Detailed project plan including timelines and methodologies.
5. Cost breakdown: Detailed cost breakdown for the work including material cost, labor cost and other related costs.
6. Quality Assurance: Quality control measures and standards.

Financial Evaluation (30%)

1.  Cash Flow: Adequate cash flow and working capital.
2.  Cost Estimates: Detailed and realistic cost estimates for the project.
3. Previous Contracts: Performance on previous contracts, including adherence to budgets and timelines.

Additional Criteria

1. Health and Safety: Compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. References: Recommendation letters from previous clients and consultants. Application procedure – Interested companies who fulfil the above criteria:

• Dates for collecting the BID document are from August 7 – 12, 2025 (Thursday – Tuesday)
• The deadline for submitting the technical and financial document is August 22, 2025 (Friday). Please note that AJJDC reserves the full right to cancel the bidding process at any stage.
