Jerusalem Children and Community Development Organization (JeCCDO), Bahir Dar and Surrounding Area Development Office, hereby invites eligible and interested bidders to participate in an open tender for the supply of mosquito nets of Long-Lasting Insecticidal Net (LLIN). The nets will be distributed to the communities of Atse Tewodros and Tana Sub-Cities to support malaria prevention efforts in Bahir Dar City.
Bidders who meet the requirements below are invited to compete:
- Legal and Administrative Requirements
- Valid and renewed business license.
- Proof of current tax payment.
- Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- VAT registration.
- Compliance with JeCCDO’s Procurement Implementation Guideline.
- Bid Submission Requirements
- Original bid documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope with a packed sample of LLINs.
- Bid security of 1% must be provided.
- Collection of tender documents upon payment of a non-refundable ETB 100.
- Submission period: from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on the seven consecutive working days after publication.
- Bid opening: 10:15 AM on the same day (or next working day if a holiday).
- Technical Requirements
- Provision of quality samples of LLINs (subject to verification by the City Health Department).
- Replacement of samples if determined to be of poor quality.
- Contractual and Delivery Requirements
- Contract security of 10% required from the successful bidder.
- Delivery of the awarded pre-treated mosquito nets to: Atse Tewodros and Tana Sub-City Administration, Bahir Dar City
- Winning bidders must legally deliver the LLINs in accordance with the signed contract.
- Organizational Rights and Communications
Interested bidders who qualify the above requirements can collect the bid document within 07 consecutive working days from the date of publication of the tender in the newspaper in the below location:
