Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission (ECC-SDCBD) Branch office of Bahirdar- Dessie invites interested & competent local contractors to submit a wax sealed tender for the

1. LOT ONE SUPPLY PIPE AND FITTING INSTALLATION
2. LOT TWO WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM-BOREHOLES SOLARIZATION WORK.  Aftit Refugees and host communities water supply project at Aftit kebele at Metema Woreda, West Gondar Zone located at about 6 km Asphalt Road from Genda-Wuha town to project site.

Bidders with GC/WWC-5 and above & Supply and Installation of solar and Electro Mechanical PLC can obtain a complete set of the Tender Documents on submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licenses for the aforementioned construction from ECC-SDCOBD Branch Office of Bahirdar [Room no 2] starting from 3 March 2025 G.C – 7 March 2025 G.C on work days from 8:30am (02:30 local time) to 5:00 pm (11:00 local time).

Bidders duly filled bid must be accompanied by:

1. Bidders  who are allowed to bid in Lot 1 are not allowed to bid in Lot 2 & Bidders who are allowed to bid in Lot 2 are not allowed to bid in Lot 1(Bidders can only participate in one bid)
2. Bidder’s renewed trade license, VAT Registration certificate, Tin Certificate, certificate of competence for 2017 E.C, tax clearance of 2016 E.C
3. Company profile showing past records and relevant credentials, NB: Experience as sub-contracting will not be accepted.
4. Evidence showing the bidder’s good reputation and financial standing that enables to perform its obligations under the contract.
5. The capability of the company to deliver the required works or services in terms of time and with the intended quality.
6. Experience of working in water supply project specifically in pipe line installation and experience in solar installation.
7. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of CPO or Unconditional bank guarantee which amounts 1% of the bid value made by the name of Ethiopia Catholic Church-Social and Development Branch office of Bahirdar-Dessie and shall remain valid for a minimum of 90 (Ninety Days) days from bid opening date.
8. The Original and one copy of the technical and financial document shall be in separate wax sealed envelopes and marked as “Original technical Document” and “Original financial document” accompanied by one “Copy of technical and financial document” respectively and both original and copies shall be in wax sealed envelope.
9. Both original and copies including “Bid Security” shall be in wax sealed envelope CPO or unconditional bank guarantee attached with original technical document.
10. Bidders should submit their bidding documents into designated box in ECC-SDCO Branch office of Bahir-Dar before or on 10 A.M. (04:00 local time) on 7 March 2025 G.C.
11. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend in person at 10:30 A.M. (04:30 local time) on 7 March 2025 G.C. at ECC-SDCO Bahir-Dar meeting hall. If there will be public holiday or weekend on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and venue. Late bids will be rejected.
12. The arithmetic check will be based on the Amhara National Regional State Bureau  of Finance procurement performance and property administration and the arithmetic difference is 2.5 % from the total amount will be acceptable and arithmetic  difference is above 2.5 % from the total amount will be rejected

13. After identification of potential contractors based on technical and financial evaluation, the winner will be posted on the organization board for 3 (three) working days.

1. ECC-SDCO Branch Office of Bahirdar-Dessie reserves the right to reject the entire or partial part of this bid.
