EMERGENCY INVITATION TO BID

Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission (ECC- SDCBD) Branch office of Bahirdar- Dessie Invites Interested & Competent local Contractors to Submit a Wax Sealed Tender for the CONSTRUCTION  OF Aftit Refugees and host communities water supply project at Aftit kebele  at Metema Woreda, West Gondar Zone located at about 6 km Asphalt Road from Genda-Wuha Town to Project Site.

Bidders with GC/WWC-3 and above can obtain a complete set of the Tender Documents on submission of a written application and copies of necessary renewed licenses for the aforementioned construction from ECC-SDCOBD Branch Office of Bahirdar [Room no 2] starting from 20^th January 2025 G.C – 24 ^thJanuary 2024 G.C on work days from 8:30am to 5:00 pm.

Bidders duly filled bid must be accompanied by:

1. Bidder’s renewed trade license, VAT Registration certificate, Tin Certificate, certificate of competence for 2017 E.C, tax clearance of 2016 E.C
2. Company profile showing past records and relevant credentials, NB: Experience as sub-contracting will not be accepted.
3. Evidence showing the bidder’s good reputation and financial standing that enables to perform its obligations under the contract.
4. The capability of the company to deliver the required works or services in terms of time and with the intended quality.
5. Experience of working in water supply project.
6. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of CPO or Unconditional bank guarantee which amounts1% of the bid value made by the name of Ethiopia Catholic Church-Social and Development Branch office of Bahirdar-Dessie and shall remain valid for a minimum of 90 (Ninety Days) days from bid opening date.
7. The Original and one copy of the technical and financial document shall be in separate wax sealed envelopes and marked as “Original technical Document” and “Original financial document” accompanied by one “Copy of technical and financial document” respectively and both original and copies shall be in wax sealed envelope.
8. Both original and copies including “Bid Security” shall be in wax sealed envelope CPO or unconditional bank guarantee attached with original technical document.
9. Bidders should submit their bidding documents into designated box in ECC-SDCO Branch office of Bahir-Dar before or on 4 P.M. (10:00 local time) on 24^th January 2025 G.C.
10. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend in person at 4:30 P.M. (10:30 local time) on 24^th January 2025 G.C. at ECC-SDCO Bahir-Dar meeting hall. If there will be public holiday or weekend on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and venue. Late bids will be rejected.

11. The Bidder Must Visit the construction Site with the knowledge of client and collect letter & submit it with his/her technical document is mandatory.
12. After identification of potential contractors based on technical and financial evaluation, the winner will be posted on the organization board for 3 (three) working days.
