Invitation for Competitive Bid

For the Renovation of EPI Rooms and Stabilization Center in Amhara Region.

Organization for Social Service, Health, and Development (OSSHD) is a non-profit, civil society organization dedicated to delivering comprehensive health and social services. Its areas of focus include HIV prevention and treatment, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), immunization programs, social protection initiatives, resettlement support for internally displaced persons (IDPs), and advocacy for peace. OSSHD invites all interested eligible bidders to participate in the bid for the construction work of hereunder listed Lots.

Required qualifications and experience

1. The contractor that needs to participate in this BID must have a renewed trade license for 2017 E.C., a tax clearance certificate, a VAT registration certification, and other relevant documents.
2. Bidders should also have a competency certificate and a minimum of three years of experience in construction works. Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
3. Bid documents shall be collected from the OSSHD’s Head Office or OSSHD Gonder Branch office from July 23, 2025, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300.00 (three hundred birr only) – Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
4. The bidder shall submit a bid security in the form of a CPO or bank guarantee prepared in the name of the Organization for Social Service Health and Development (OSSHD) with a separate envelope. The CPO or bank guarantee value will be 2% of the bid price proposed by the bidder.
5. This invitation for bid is open to all interested bidders fulfilling the above criteria and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the RFP (Request for Proposal).
6. The bidder must collect a hard copy of the bidding document directly from our office as indicated below.
7. Interested applicants (Grade 6 and above contractors) should submit their technical and financial proposals in sealed envelopes to OSSHD, Gondar Branch Office at the address stated below before the closing date on August 4, 2025, 10:00 AM.
8. A bidder can compete for one or more lots, and a single bidder will be awarded multiple Lots upon extreme caution on its capability.
9. The bid will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives in OSSHD Gonder Branch Office.
10. OSSHD reserves its right to reject any or all bids .
