SOS Children’s Villages in Ethiopia Bahir Dar Program Location would like to invite interested bidders to submit bid proposals for the procurement of the following materials listed below in Lots.

This tender is open to eligible suppliers that are qualified and technically competent to provide the required and above-mentioned goods.

  • A complete set of the bidding document (TOR) could be collected by eligible bidders from SOS CV Bahir Dar and Sekota project offices during working hours (2:30 A.M.–6:00 A.M. and 7:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. local time) on working days from February 02,2026 GC to February 12,2026 GC. Until 3: 00 A.M local time
  • The closing date of the bid will be February 12,2026 GC at 3:00 A.M and will be  opened on February 12,2026 GC at 4:00 A.M local time in SOS CV Bahir Dar office.

The requirements and documents that need to be submitted with the proposals are:

  1. Renewed business license for the year, copies of the tax identification certificate and VAT registration certificate
  1. Bidders are required to deliver bid documents sealed in the bid box prepared for this purpose before or on February 12,2026 GC in Bahir Dar.
  2. Bidders need to pay 300.00 Birr in commercial bank of Ethiopia KDI Account 1000000971417 to access the bid documents.
  3. Bidders shall submit a bid guarantee of 1% of the total quoted price of the bid in CPO for each lot
  4. Winners will be selected based on the lowest price of each lot depending on value for money for the organization and delivery
  5. The bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
  6. Suppliers should comply with SOS CV child and youth safeguarding policy and other binding policies and regulations.
  7. Winners will be notified within fifteen days since the opening of the open tender and are required to provide prices based on this consideration
  1. The bidders shall do the transport, loading and unloading activities with their own expenses (do delivery duty unpaid) in Sekota town, Gazgibla woreda at As ketema and

Zikuala woreda at Tsitsika towns in the government schools as indicated in the lots/table above.

  1. Bidders shall cover insurance issues in inconveniences during delivery duty unpaid
  2. The bid will be opened in front of available bidders, and the winners will be notified through the firm address after technical and financial analysis.
